Mechanicals:
Rear mounted 1 liter single overhead cam engine (same as the early Samurai) with 4-speed gearbox.
Fresh valve job, head rebuilt by Auto Sport machine shop in Seattle.
New timing belt, tensioner, water pump, new hoses and belts, new rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes.
New battery, excellent tires.
Clean, tidy engine compartment.
Exterior:
Car has been repainted nicely but there are a few bubbles in the paint.
Very little rust repair was needed on the body of this nice old car, no indication that the car has ever been damaged.
New base coat clear coat paint refinished in a pale silver green metallic.
Bumpers rechromed.
Webasto style sunroof in very good condition.
Interior:
Very decent, mostly original interior, not perfect but very nice. The carpets are new.
The only things that do not work on the car are the oil pressure gauge and clock.
Experience:
Car starts easily, drives out well.
This is not a show car but is very showable, sure to please and be a hit at the next cars and coffee event.
4-speed gearbox shifts very nicely, no bad or scratchy syncronizers.
Comes with quite a few nice but used spare parts.
